Boho Skirts - Another Hot Summer Trend

Boho skirts were really big a few seasons ago. Ethnic prints, maxi dresses and a style full of Eastern promise was what every fashionista in the UK wanted to be seen in. Last season, we didn't see as many boho skirts, but this year - good old 2009 - we are sure to be seeing them back again and more and more people are going to be wanting to revamp their wardrobe with some hot boho fashion.

Boho skirts can take on many different forms; from short, floaty flower prints to long multi-coloured and multi-patterned skirts, there is something for everyone in the world of boho fashion. Dress for your age and you'll carry the look off perfectly.

So, if you're already thinking about getting your summer wardrobe ready, buy a couple of boho skirts and look on-trend when the hot weather arrives.

The Mini Skirt: Iconic Fashion of the 1960s

It is interesting to think how one item of clothing has had such a massive impact on the world of fashion. The mini skirt is quite simply iconic. From its humble beginnings in the 1960s to being the statement fashion piece of many women, the mini skirt is one of those items that will never date. As years go by, the mini skirt has changed, so we now have a choice of denim mini skirts, leather mini skirts, cotton twill mini skirts and other funky variations, for everyone from their teens to their twenties.

Is there an age when you can't wear the mini skirt? Well, society would suggest that if you are in your 40s then you are too old to wear the mini skirt, but i think it is down to personal opinion. Its whatever you feel comfortable in. I used to work in a fashion boutique and one regular customer was in her 60s and she would try on all the Morgan fashions, which is ideally suited to young people. However, she would inevitably buy a few mini skirts every time she came in!

Love Unique Fashion!

Unique fashion is something individual and unusual, and many people are realising just how stunning it can be.

With up and coming designers comes unique fashion that is only available at select stores, often small boutiques. Check out their hottest styles by hunting down the small unique stores in the big cities.

Unique fashion can look great on anyone with a sense of style. All you need is the confidence. Uniqiue fashion is not intended for those that want to blend into the backgroud. Have a voice and be heard - by wearing the latest unique fashion.

Why I Love Luella...

Luella Bartley is a British Fashion Designer that has been making fashions and accessories for many years now. Her style is quirky and chic, often with a bit of a retro feel. I think she is leading the way for British fashion.

The Luella Gisele Bag was a huge success; they were seen on many celebrity arms. This is considered an iconic accessory.

Ladies Fashion Skirts - Show Some Leg!

These days it is more important than ever to dress to impress and having a knock-out skirt can achieve this effortlessly. First, however, you have to make sure you dress appropriately for your age.

Ladies in their early 20s can easily get away with short skirts, but when you get to 30, i think it is important that you increase the length a little bit. I have heard a few times that you should increase the length on your skirt by each year you get older, but i dont think this would be entirely fair to those ladies that still have great figures in their 40s! It is just about knowing the boundaries and dressing to suit your style and age.

Ladies fashion skirts can come in all different sizes and styles, but here's a good tip for those ladies of a slightly fuller figure: Opt for an A-line skirt to minimise attention on the waistline. The A-line skirt will draw the eye to the curves of your body around the hip and leg area, rather than focusing on the actual stomach, which most of us want to cover up. This type of skirt will flatter the figure much better.
